Our Community

Wiveliscombe is a friendly, peaceful and active community where everyone has the choice to become involved in the many clubs, societies and community groups in the town and surrounding area.

There are excellent primary and secondary schools, a health clinic, and a busy community centre in the main square which acts a focal point for many local initiatives. Wiveliscombe's sporting tradition - especially rugby - is evident through the well-supported rugby football club based at the town's recreation ground, which also boasts a popular heated outdoor pool and tennis courts.
