    • Wiveliscombe based Cinema Obscura film society was first established in 2000. Independent in thinking and always seeking to screen the best and possibly challenging films that World Cinema currently offers. Based at the New Hall, Wiveliscombe Primary School, North Street Wiveliscombe - having recently updated equipment we are now able to show films in HD / Blu-Ray on our 'cinema sized' screen

Come along from 7pm and enjoy a hot drink, chat with members about our programme of films and enjoy watching the film which normally commences at 7:30pm. If there is time we will also show a short film prior to the main film sourced from local film makers courtesy of Somerset Film. Do contact us if you have a short film you would like our audience to view.

We are also looking for new committee members so please contact Eddie Gaines on 01984 624657

if you are interested in helping to run one of the best film societies in the South West
