Wiveliscombe Young Farmers club is well known for its efforts at raising money for local charities.Meeting are held on a Wednesday evening in Wiveliscombe when various activities and talks take place.
Over the years it has raised money for The Devon and Somerset Air Ambulance, Riding for the Disabled and Children’s Hospice South West to name just a few.
It is important to realise that you don’t have to be a farmer’s son or daughter to join any Young Farmers Club as the programme caters for members from all walks of life
