The Committee provides facilities to local groups and clubs for sporting and recreational activities.

The Wiveliscombe War Memorial Charity was given the ground by the Hancocks Brewery for the people of the parish to enjoy recreational activities. It is managed by 8 members of Wiveliscombe Parish Council and 7 members of the public. In 2005 a new children's play area is being constructed.

Members of the public are free to come to the annual meeting, usually held during the Spring –look for details on parish notice boards.
