The outdoor facilities include a small, safe, grassed area with a large tree providing shade.
The playgroup is a member of the PLA (Pro-school Learning Alliance) and is regulated by OFSTED. Our last inspection report was excellent, stating that this setting is a welcoming establishment, which serves the community well by providing good support for families and carers and that the children's spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is fostered appropriately. The group works in partnership with the local primary school and has excellent links with Community Education.
We are supported by hardworking, fund-raising parents and staff, who organise many events throughout the year. There are regular pre-school discos, an Easter Draw, jumble sales, sponsored bounce, catalogues, teddy bears picnic, raffles, sponsored runs, an annual trip and celebratory parties, providing great fun for parents and children.
The p!aygroup is under the management of a committee and is organised by a supervisor, deputy and three other members of staff.
