The Plain Pond Allotment has been owned by Wiveliscombe Parish Council since 1982. It is located near the second Wiveliscombe rugby ground to the rear of the Plain Pond Housing Estate.

If available, tenancies for plots are usually let from January of each year on the payment of an annual rent. Plots must be cultivated by the end of April each year and kept in good order.
