The following walks are planned for 2010

Aug. 4th - Annual Evening Walk

• Meet: 6pm Wivey Square.
• Walk over the hill to Three Horseshoes for dinner to celebrate one of the walkers birthday.
• Booking for dinner essential by July 24th.
• Shepherd's Pie (unless special dietary requirements).
• Return route individual choice.

First Wednesday in September. Sept 1st

• Meet:Wiveliscombe Square 9.30am, in time to catch 9.40 bus to Langford Budville.
• Walk back to Wivey.
• About 5 mls.
• Mostly undulating fields and one steepish track.

Mid September walk. Sept. 18th

• Meet 10am CWCP to car share to Blue Anchor for walk about 6mls.
• 1 steep climb to moorland with wonderful views to Wales.
• Descend down shaded coombe to Withycombe then walk along beach.

First Wednesday October. Oct. 6th

• MEET: 10am Wivey Square to catch 10.11 bus to Hillcommon.
• Walk back via Milverton, Ridgeway Lane, Croford Hill and Castle.
• About 5 mls.
• Pastureland, hilly in parts.

Mid October Walk. Sat Oct. 16th

• Meet: Croft Way car park 10am for car sharing to Horner woods for a walk that shows all that is good in Exmoor.
• River, 1 steep climb, views of Porlock Bay and moorland.
• Short walk of 4 miles (2 ½ hrs) but anticipate we may extend it to 6 mls.

First Wednesday November. Nov. 3rd

• This is likely to be another "bus walk".
• Stawley, river and back to Wivey.
• To be confirmed next notice.

Timings are approximate and exclude major stops. Wear boots or strong shoes on all walks. Always bring picnic lunch and money for tea unless stated otherwise. Dogs welcome if under control.
