'Touching the Seasons' by Michael Fairfax, public artist, sculptor and designer
Michael has worked with numerous art organisations throughout the British Isles during the last 25 years. He has been lead artist on the Blackdown Hills for the last five years as part of the 'Neroche Project', a scheme funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

'The Lunatic Express' by Ewart Walker
Following upon the early African explorers began the scramble for Africa, with major countries vying to expand their empires and Britain leading the pack. Britain tried to gain a foothold in what was later to become Kenya with the 'lunatic' idea of building a 600-mile railway from the Indian Ocean to the shore of Lake Victoria.

'Re-shaping the County Town' by Ian Franklin, Project Taunton.
Project Taunton is beginning to change the face, shape and character of Taunton. Extensive regeneration is set to make the town the centre for sustainable and prosperous living in the South West - and a fantastic place to be. Ian will describe what is happening now, what is in prospect and what the long-term impact will be.
