Our accounts for the year under review show a small surplus and we continue to receive strong support from the constituent members and co-optees who serve on its executive committee. Indeed, without the commitment of these volunteers, all the good work which is generated within and from the Wiveliscombe Community Office would simply not happen.
We were fortunate to be able to appoint Edward Bloxham as our new treasurer and this has resulted, amongst other things, in a significant improvement in the preparation and distribution of our financial accounts.
The Office continues to deliver services to the population at large and we have experienced even greater activity this year; having a full time coordinator has clearly benefitted all concerned and we are delighted with the way things are running.
We were pleased to have been able to secure long-term future funding for the CAB through the generous financial package offered by Wessex Water; this service above all others provides the sort of core advice and guidance which we seek to deliver locally and a guarantee like this is therefore very important to us.
Wivey Link continues to use the office as its own coordination centre and this works seamlessly with the other activities in the office.
As always it is appropriate to thank all those who contribute to the success of this organisation both as volunteers and funders and in this respect I would like to extend a particular thank you to all the Parish Councils who helped us this year,
