The following is a summary of the 2011/12 events programme

Friday 30th March 2012

At last the Milverton Concert Society can finally confirm that Jenny Agutter who has been on our televisions recently in "'Call the Midwife"', not to mention two versions of 'The Railway Children'" will be in Milverton on Friday 30th March. (Assuming that is, that her long haul flight from Tobago can locate the nearest airport to Milverton ..)

She will be reading from works by Shakespeare, John Betjeman, Emily Brontë, Roger McGough, Giles Brandreth and more, accompanied by wonderful music on oboe and piano performed by The Polmear /Ambache Duo on a theme of 'The Pursuit of Happiness'. A fitting and uplifting end to a very successful 2011/12 season for Milverton's very own concert society.

If you would like to see the whole programme, go to www.polmearambache.co.uk then click on the green title names to enter the site and go to the Words and Music Programmes. For the whole programme look for the link called - "for more details click here"
