The community has come together to get many projects off the ground. Below is a very short list of the amount of voluntary work that has gone on in the area:

• The saving of one rural Post Office
• The improvement and renovation of two village halls
• The development of a new rural post office and community space
• The development of sheltered housing for the area
• The development of a business park for the area
• The development of affordable housing
• Building a Communty Facility for the area that will have the provision of childrens' services at its heart
• Running a bi annual Ten Parishes Festival.

The list is ongoing and is only matched by the participants' enthusiasm and motivation to do more. In the future the Ten Parishes will form the key to enabling the people who live in the area.
