There is no annual subscription or formal membership. All interested in historical matters are welcome to attend the meetings on payment of an entrance fee, currently £1.50.

Speakers are invited to address subjects with a historical theme relevant to Somerset in particular or the West Country in general. The Society is unable to help with genealogical research.
