| Abstract | Wiveliscombe Community First Responder Group is now in its 4th year of service. The scheme, consisting of 16 members, was the first responder scheme set up by the Westcountry Ambulance Services in 2001. The success of the scheme was so immediate in providing emergency care to patients that a further 55 responder groups were launched across the South West. |
