All artists and craft workers across the 10 Parishes are invited to submit design and idea proposals for a unique piece of art or craft that will be a fun and enduring trophy for the "10 Parishes Swimathon".

Wiveliscombe Community Swimming Pool Club charity will be having this inaugural competition this coming summer and has set aside a budget of 200 pounds.

The “10 Parishes Swimathon” will see teams from within the 10 Parishes compete in Parish Heats in June, with top teams from each Parish competing against each other at the end of the summer. The winning team will be invited to display their Parishes trophy in a public place in their Parish until the following year.

Any interested artists should submit their proposals to Phil Cookson, 4, South Street, Wivey, TA4 2LZ or phil.cookson@homecall.co.uk by 20th April. A proposal will be chosen in early May and the art / craft will need to be complete by 11 June.
