Meetings are open to anyone interested in historical matters and take place in the Primary School Hall, North Street, Wiveliscombe at 7.30 pm., on the THIRD TUESDAY of the month unless otherwise stated.

• November 20th - Smile Please! Norman Thompson. A peep into the fascinating world of photography over the past century.
• January 15th 2008 - Video Show – Farming of the Past. Peter Sealy.
• February 19th - The Somerset Dendrochronology Project. Mark McDermott. The dating of old wood through the study of tree rings.
• March 18th - Gillingham’s Artificial Limbs. Derek Warren. The story of a Somerset enterprise.
• April 15th - Textiles in Somerset. Estelle Gilbert. Once a major industry in the county.
• May 20th - The Somerset Rural Life Museum at Glastonbury. Afternoon visit. Meet in Croft Way car park at 1 pm. for car-sharing.
