• December 3: (Saturday) The "Bevin Boys" of World War II.Warwick Taylor and Ian Ferguson. Jointly with Wiveliscombe Civic Society. Talk and Supper £12.
• January 9: Mrs. Bessie Langdon, Wiveliscombe's own Business Tycoon. Peter Langdon.
• February 13: The Transportation of Convicts to Australia. David Hawkins.
• March 13: The Brendon Hills Iron Ore Mines and the Mineral Railway. Mike Jones."The emergence and disappearance of a local industrv". An illustrated talk.
• April 10: Stained Glass. Avril Silk.
• May 8: Evening Visit to Sheppy's Cider. Leave Croft Way car park at 6.30. £4.75 per person (Senior Citizens £4.25) CANCELLED.
• June 13: Afternoon visit to The Peat Moors Centre at Shapwick. Guided tour begins at 2.30 pm. £3.50 per person.
