In the future the 10 Parishes will represent not only a strong brand for the area but will be the focus for communities working together, with partners from other organisations, to achieve a sustainable future for the area that has the well being and happiness of all its inhabitants and visitors at its heart.

The 10 Parishes is very ambitious and is working towards being an exemplar of community led regeneration for the whole of the United Kingdom. To achieve this it is currently working on a number of key areas:

• Developing itself as a community owned organisation whereby all the Parishes are represented and that by working together the area can prosper in every way.
• Developing a number of projects that wil improve the social, environmental and economic situtation for the area. These will help to create a sense that things are going on and will be an important motivation for further development.
• Developing as a professional organisation that has the skills and experience to enable the community to take control of its area.

Underpinning all of this is a developing strategy plan.

Currently a business plan and vision is being developed for the area. Although there is an existing vision many people have felt that this needs to be reviewed in order to ensure that we all work together. Remember this is all a very new way of working and everyone involved from volunteers to government officers are learning everyday how we can all work together better.
